Please light a candle for my dear dad, I was seperated from him when he and my mother split up
social services kept him away from me he died back in 1987 I was only 4 weeks old when I was put in
care.....I met him when I was older but sadly I was not ready to have him in my life,something I
will always regret......He was a very special man and I will always feel guilty for not giving him
break.....Dad I am so sorry....I love and miss you dearly.......
What can I say dad I never knew you growing up then I met you when I was 18 things didn't work
out for us did they dad ? well not until it was too late and I found out you died 6 years after you
actually passed I was devastated and my life has never been the same I break my heart often over you
and look at your picture all the time you mean so much to me and I am so sorry you had the life you
did and I am sorry that social services never gave you the chance to shine. I always have and
always will love you dad, I cant get over you and I will never forgive myself x x I am writing a
book now dad called cracked mirror and I hope it gets published its all about you mum and my life in
general as you know life was very hard for me but you never forgot me did you ? I know it was
painful for you to watch me grow up with other people life is cruel like it was cruel for you to go
without me saying sorry or goodbye. You have 2 grandchildren dad I have Cory who is 7 and little
Casey Paige Jon's little girl, he is wonderful and it hasn't been easy for any of us but
we have managed x I think of you all the time dad and I will miss you for ever I love you so much it
hurts. Rest In Peace darling dad your eldest daughter Nikola and grandson Cory x x x x x

TWO FRIENDS WERE WALKING
THROUGH THE DESERT
DURING SOME POINT OF THE
JOURNEY, THEY HAD AN
ARGUMENT; AND ONE FRIEND
SLAPPED THE OTHER ONE
IN THE FACE
THE ONE WHO GOT SLAPPED
WAS HURT, BUT WITHOUT
SAYING ANYTHING,
WROTE IN THE SAND
'TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE'
THEY KEPT ON WALKING,
UNTIL THEY FOUND AN OASIS,
WHERE THEY DECIDED
TO TAKE A BATH
THE ONE WHO HAD BEEN
SLAPPED GOT STUCK IN THE
MIRE! AND STARTED DROWNING,
BUT THE FRIEND SAVED HIM.
AFTER HE RECOVERED FROM
THE NEAR DROWNING,
HE WROTE ON A STONE:
'TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SAVED MY LIFE'
THE FRIEND WHO HAD SLAPPED
AND SAVED HIS BEST FRIEND
ASKED HIM, 'AFTER I HURT YOU,
YOU WROTE IN THE SAND AND NOW,
YOU WRITE ON A STONE, WHY?'
THE FRIEND REPLIED
'WHEN SOMEONE HURTS US
WE SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN
IN SAND, WHERE WINDS OF
FORGIVENESS CAN ERASE IT AWAY.
BUT, WHEN SOMEONE DOES
SOMETHING GOOD FOR US,
WE MUST ENGRAVE IT IN STONE
WHERE NO WIND
CAN EVER ERASE IT'
LEARN TO WRITE
YOUR HURTS IN
THE SAND AND TO
CARVE YOUR
BENEFITS IN STONE.
THEY SAY IT TAKES A
MINUTE TO FIND A SPECIAL PERSON,
AN HOUR TO APPRECIATE THEM,
